Scott entered the mortgage business in 2005, after running several successful businesses in Canada and Asia. He has been president of Foundation Mortgage since 2009, successfully steering the company through the financial collapse and expanding operations from a Mortgage Brokerage in South Florida to direct lender underwriting and funding loans licensed in Florida, Virginia, Maryland and California with multiple branch offices.

Originally from the Northeast, Scott grew up in Southwestern Connecticut and attended university at Skidmore College in upstate New York in addition to Athens, Greece with a major in Bio-Chemistry and Classics. Before returning to Miami in 2005 and entering the mortgage business, he spent 13 years traveling and working abroad.
